Terms & Refund Policy

What FateTracker does

FateTracker measures how AI assistants answer public questions about a niche — for example, "who are the best fitness creators to follow?" — and reports whether a given name appears in those answers. We ask each question several times per model, count only majority-consistent results, record the answers, and track changes week over week.

What we do not promise

We do not and cannot guarantee that you will appear in any AI answer, that your score will rise, or that any recommended action will produce a specific result. AI answers are stochastic and the systems that produce them are controlled by third parties and change without notice. Everything we publish about outcomes is correlational — "appeared after," never "caused by." Any statement to the contrary, from any source, is not ours.

Your account

You may scan without an account. Saving history, setting a goal, or receiving weekly email requires an email address and your opt-in. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for having the right to track the name or brand you submit.

Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation

Paid plans bill in advance through Stripe on a recurring basis — monthly or annually, at the price shown at checkout — until cancelled. You may cancel at any time, yourself, from your Results Ledger page; no email, call, or chat is required. Cancellation stops future charges and takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. We keep your recorded history after cancellation unless you ask us to delete it.

Refunds

If you are unhappy with a paid plan, email [email protected] within 14 days of a charge and we will refund that charge in full, no explanation required. After 14 days, we refund the current period if the service failed to deliver what it promised — for example, if a scheduled weekly measurement did not run. Refunds return to the original payment method.

Acceptable use

Do not use FateTracker to harass, impersonate, or build dossiers on private individuals, to submit names you have no legitimate interest in, or to attempt to overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer the service. We may suspend accounts that do, and we may decline or remove any scan at our discretion.

Availability and changes

The service is provided as-is, without warranty. We depend on third-party AI APIs; if a provider changes pricing, access, or terms, our coverage may change and we will say so plainly rather than quietly substituting data. We may modify these terms; material changes will be emailed to subscribers at least 14 days before they take effect.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost revenue, lost sponsorships, or lost audience.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, and any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in New York.
